Which Classes Should I Take?
First, anyone may choose to take any AHA class that they would like. No class options are proprietary, and you won't be told "no." After all, the ultimate goal is saving lives. However, we understand that you're probably here for a reason, and we certainly want to guide you to the right place.

The course paths are broken down into non-medical professionals and medical professionals. If you're unsure in which category you belong, please read examples below to find your path. As you view the sections below, think about it like this, is your aim to keep someone alive until help arrives or ARE you the help?

And as always, if you have any questions, please reach out anytime, and we will help guide you toward your goals! In the meantime, read on to find your path.

NON-Medical Professionals
A majority of students who come to Bring 'Em Back are here for occupational or personal reasons, but sometimes medical professionals will need to acquire or renew certifications. If you are in the medical field seeking training as a "Healthcare Provider," please skip to the next section... "Medical Professionals."

Assuming you're looking for standard CPR training and certification, you're likely to be best served by our "HeartSaver" Path.

Some excellent candidates for our HeartSaver courses may include the following:
-
Charter-Boat Captains and Crew/ For-Hire and Recreational Boat Operators
-
Teachers, Aides, and Instructors
-

-

-

-
Anyone else who spends time around children, water, or the elderly

This list is certainly not all-inclusive, and I repeat, anyone can take these courses. This is likely your best path if you're seeking training for personal or professional reasons (outside of medical providers): i.e. OSHA requirements, USCG requirements, family readiness, general preparedness, peace of mind, self-betterment, etc.

Medical Providers
If you're a medical provider seeking classes which are more advanced in nature, you're more likely to be best served by our BLS Classes- "Basic Life Support."

Some great examples of candidates for our BLS courses are::
-
Nurses/ PA's

Again, list is certainly not all-inclusive, and also again, anyone can take these courses. This is just most likely your best path if you're seeking training for a future in the medical field.
